From the Photographer:
As part of our "Wildest Dreams" styled shoot for The Workshop Collective, we also included a breathtaking styled boudoir session! In order to create this, we brought in a massive Safari tent and adorned it with an assortment of vintage details. We wanted to maintain the authenticity of the video, and designed the inside of the tent to be reminiscent of the 1950s. We set a bed in the middle of the space and used vintage luggage to create "tables" on either side the bed. We kept one of these tables very masculine, with a vintage radio, and designed the other very feminine, with semimetal photos and vintage perfume bottles. We also set a classic drink station at the base of the bed with vintage whiskey bottles and rocks glasses. Finally, to add to the boudoir feel, we added a clothes rack and scattered clothing around the floor. When it came to the couple, we wanted them to have a relaxed 1950's glam look, and therefore kept the bride's hair down and added a bold lip color. Ultimately, I feel like we were successful in emulating the "Wildest Dreams" tent, and adding our own flair to create a one of kind boudoir session.
