It's Fall, my very favorite season. The leaves are turning yellow and red, the light is golden and the early morning fog is the best companion for a walk to get coffee. I love this season of change. It is warm and welcoming with a feel of Christmas anticipation in the air.
Even though the warm Summer days are gone, the season of Fall is still perfect for an outdoor boudoir session. Since preparation is the key to every successful photo shoot, make sure to plan your outdoor boudoir session according to your weather conditions and talk to your photographer about location and time of day beforehand.
Here is my list of favorite things for your to pack for your Fall outdoor photo session:
- Boots: No matter if your are wearing heels or enjoying the barefoot sensation of leaves under your feet, make sure to pack some warm boots, you can put on every time you start feeling a little cold.
- Coat: Since you are wearing beautiful lingerie, a warm coat to cuddle up in, when you are in need of a little break, or when your photographer is changing a roll of film/memory card, is essential to feel warm and comfortable during these cooler Fall days.
- Blanket: You don't have your winter coat at hand right now? Take your favorite blanket with you. The familiarity of your home brought outdoors makes you feel secure and comfortable in this new situation of walking around in lingerie, outside.
- Hot tea: I always love to bring a thermos full of hot tea to my outdoor photo shoots for myself and of course for my lovely clients (most of the time more than one, with different types of tea). Feeling warm on the inside helps you deal with the cooler air and keeps you hydrated.
