“The simplest things are often the truest.” - Richard Bach
She can feel her heart beat slowing as she touches the curtains. She had been so nervous, but she realizes in this moment that there was nothing to fear. The light catches her eyes, which are the most amazing color of green. She pushes a strand of hair away from her face and then looks directly into the camera. She is finally ready.
This gorgeous collection by Kurt Boomer Photography was shot as minimally as possible with just the soft light through the window used to contrast the organic graininess in the images. He is inspired by the idea that Fine Art has few limitations, which allows for complete trust between a photographer and his model.
The simplicity of this session showcases what we love most about boudoir photography -- true intimacy. A deep feeling of connection that allows you to share the most hidden parts of yourself. Boudoir sessions are about capturing who you are right in this moment. Nothing is ever perfect. But you should feel luminous, ethereal and completely at ease as you share yourself.
We hope that these images encourage you to be your true self and to seek out true intimacy.
