From the photographer:
Boudoir photography is still relatively new for me, and I’m always honored when a woman places her trust in me and allows me to capture her most intimate moments. I wanted to show how special these moments can be, and also how relaxed, and sometimes playful, too. I also love to organize photo sessions including every aspect, and I was having the idea of a slow, soft, and relaxed boudoir session for some time.
Sometimes ideas lay dormant in your mind for a long time before you find all the perfect pieces falling in place. This session was shot in a studio in Budapest, Hungary, and it happened there mainly because of the space. I just had to photograph there. Inspiration just kept growing when I saw the photos of the venue and started to envision the kind of photos I could take there.
When I asked around if anyone was feeling like modeling for me, Réka wrote and I knew immediately I wanted to photograph her. She is also a photographer, but wrote that she wanted to have boudoir photos of herself for a long time, and be a bit on the other side of the camera. Since the space was already looking quite beautiful, I wanted her to wear something that adds to the overall look, so I went to my local Zara Home store and borrowed some of their loungewear for this shoot. During the planning a make up artist joined us too, and created a lovely, soft and feminine look for Réka. With her curly hair and the timeless outfits, she resembles an actress from the golden age of Hollywood. I think this classic glamour will never go out of style and will never be dated, so I really like to create photos in this direction.
