It's no secret that we love everything French. French words, French lace, even French bread. There is a special feeling we get when we look at this collection of photos. A feeling of nostalgia, of inspiration, and of complete awe. There is such an emotion captured here, with the movement and subtle glances, that is hard to forget.
We truly love the inspiration behind it all. Here is what the photographer told us,
"This boudoir shoot took place during Marie Film Photographer workshop in the heart of Paris in May 2016. The idea behind it was to show a morning of a bride who is preparing for her big day, spending the last moments in her place, one on one with her thoughts, feelings, dreams and expectations. She will definitely be missing this place of her own, where every detail is a reflection of her world. She is also excited to start a new chapter of her life with her future husband, and she wants to remember this day in between when everything is about to change. She is confident and happy with herself and she wants to remember and save this part of herself that only belongs to her.
"The styling of this boudoir was not overly complicated, but very balanced in a French way - traditional apartment with a wooden floor and antique mirror, soft and delicate lingerie, wedding flowers and scented candles create an intimate and romantic atmosphere, perfect for the morning of a big day. This is the part of the day when it's all about the bride."
Life is about changing, growing, and reflecting. It is okay to mourn the loss of an old way, but it is crucial to pave the way for a new one.
