As Nina walked through the door at her favorite florist shop she was drawn in by the vibrant pink roses just inside. She immediately started thinking about how she could use them in the boudoir sessions she had planned over the next two days. “It's really inspirational to put together a new color palette and play with it, to think about where the colors happen in nature and what fits together with those colors,” she explained.
The sessions she had scheduled were an introduction for her former and future clients, inviting them to explore themselves through boudoir over the course of two days of shooting. Her goal was to show “the loveliness of every woman who will dare to be in front of my camera, in hope that she will also see the beauty of herself… in 99% of the sessions, it has a very positive effect for their self-confidence.” We love that!
This simple black and white session, with that pop of pink rose, is Nina’s favorite from those sessions. It’s a favorite of ours as well because of the relaxed and comfortable vibe the model. When a client can relax and be herself in front of the camera, that is when you know the session is a success.
