RUSTIC BRIDAL BOUDOIR BY DARIN CROFTON PHOTOGRAPHY

Rustic Bridal Boudoir by Darin Crofton Photography // Featured on Boudoir Collective Today we’re excited to share another unique bridal boudoir with you, this one just as different from the last as can be! Focusing on the charm of a country cabin and the great outdoors, this rustic bridal boudoir is as carefree as they come! Here’s what Stephanie at Darin Crofton Photography had to share with us about this shoot:

I wanted to capture rustic simplicity and soft innocence with this boudoir session. Something that would showcase the beautiful surroundings coupled with a bride that exudes sweetness and purity. The shoot took place at the bridal cabin on a farm venue. As a lover of the outdoors, this particular setting has a relaxed feel that allows inhibitions to be released.

This relaxed mood led to my favorite part of the shoot, which was when we incorporated the tulle skirt and cowboy boots. Christy twirled and twirled on the porch of the bridal cabin. To hear her giggle and see her smile made the day extra meaningful because I knew she was having fun!

My approach to boudoir photography is to treat each session as unique and customized. Each client’s individuality should come through in the images to make her feel confident and beautiful in her own style and way. For anyone considering a boudoir session, I would first say to know your photographer and to be safe. If bringing a friend will make you feel at ease, an experienced photographer should have no problem with that.

Once that has been established, have FUN! Make sure your photographer knows the setting and surroundings to make the best use of your time. Make sure you have tried on outfits ahead of time and feel confident in each. As for hair and makeup, it's worth it to have done professionally even if you're going for a simple girl next door look. Lastly, incorporate any sentimental jewelry or items to give more meaning to your images.
