Three words capture everything we love about this boudoir: feminine, luscious and ethereal. The wonderfully delicate carnation and eucalyptus bouquet the model holds highlights the soft rosiness of the her skin and the glossy texture of her red locks. She glows from the soft light in the minimalistic room, needing nothing outside of herself to showcase her sensual beauty. Inspired by Impressionist portraiture of women, Katja Scherle created this session to honor the tones and textures of a woman's body. She shared, “Fine art boudoir is stripped down to the raw, sensual, close beauty of the woman. Hardly or no props, no 'metaphors', just the wonderful interaction of the female face and body and the simple fabric covering it.” The focus isn’t on playing up what the model is wearing or even on any specific body part, just on the whole of the woman in front of the camera.
We hope these dreamy images encourage you to think about ways to highlight your own sensuality by stripping away distractions, leaving you to feel more like yourself.
