Bridal boudoirs comes in all shapes and sizes, just like the brides who excitedly book them as a gift to their new husbands. Sometimes they are lacy and sweet, all wrapped up in tulle, and sometimes they are a sexy preview of wedding night lingerie. Today’s fresh and flowered bridal boudoir by Susann of Fraulein Zuckerwatte is our favorite kind of bridal boudoir -- one that celebrates the inner light of the bride, matching her excitement for her upcoming wedding with a chance to celebrate her femininity. It doesn’t get much more vulnerable or romantic than that!
We love Susann’s take on the importance of finding a way to show each bride’s unique beauty and personality within a bridal boudoir:
Between weddings and lifestyle sessions, a piece of my heart belongs to the intimate moments I share with my brides to create a morning gift for her husband-to-be on the wedding day. For me the magic of boudoir comes from the fact that you will not see a naked woman at all but that everything is vaguely perceptible. It’s simple and difficult at once: real beauty is something that shines from inside.
My advice for boudoir is to find inspiration but don't try to copy poses. No pose can beat how a body reflects the soul. Every woman has something unique to offer. Just relax, make yourself comfortable and let your inner beauty shine.
Thanks for sharing this lovely session and thoughtful advice on boudoir imagery with us! We hope it serves as inspiration for all brides booking their boudoirs for 2016. May it be a year filled with many gorgeous boudoirs and meaningful celebrations of love!
