From the Photographer:
Boudoir is a beautiful thing. It's no secret in today's society that women can feel undervalued if they don't feel they match the world's standards of physical beauty. Feeling "not enough" is something I'm certain most women feel. That's why I love the power of boudoir. It truly shows each individual woman how incredibly beautiful she is! As a photographer, I know most ladies are a little nervous about a boudoir session, but I also know that the end result always makes such an impact! It's such a wonderful thing to see a beautiful woman's face light up as she sees her boudoir session and realizes how stunning she really is. It's such a confidence booster! Femininity is beautiful. And that's exactly what this boudoir session was based upon. We chose a flourishing garden as our backdrop. It was filled with colorful roses, greens, running water, and golden hour light streaming through the trees. It was the picture of soft feminine beauty. This session featured lace robes trailing behind our model and lovely jewels adorning her hair. I focused my camera on soft touches, quiet steps through the garden, and the serenity of a peaceful walk. My hope is that these images provoke a feeling of beauty in softness. Being feminine can truly mean so many things, and I wanted to particularly celebrate the softer and more romantic side of femininity and boudoir is such a perfect way to do it!
