From the photographer:
The thought was tossed about with Talia, of Inspire Events, about combining soft floral designs paired with a boudoir shoot. When discussing the venue, it was imperative the lighting be gorgeous. Filtering through the options, we came up with the Old Trinity of the Paseo. The way the light pours through the windows is so breathtaking, and we knew it would frame the subject perfectly.
We love the combination of the soft draping fabrics in the venue paired with the earthy feel of the floral designs and how they seem to just envelop the woman and her innocence. The warmth of the venue, the florals and the chic wardrobe creates an elegance in this humble space sharing the organic and alluring feel we were grasping.
The hair and make-up were perfectly coordinated to continue the softness of the flowy ensemble. The trusting way the smooth curl falls to her shoulder and rests so delicately and the hint of color the light catches on her face, gives these photos such a romantic, innocent feel.
The details were also intricately considered. The importance of keeping the continuity of the soft, delicate, romantic feel led us to incorporate several items. The elaborate, effortless look of the floral bodice, the tufted white settee that lends itself to a gorgeous statement piece and the floral garter were all chosen for their ability to shine in such an unmistakable way.
