Cozy mornings are our favorite. We are enamored with this session by Live View Studios, it truly brings out the relaxation in us. It's a great reminder to take a break from the hustle and bustle of life, and to refresh and take time for ourselves every once in a while! We give you permission to throw on your fuzziest slippers and curl up with a good book today.
We asked Brent of Live View Studios to give us a little bit of insight on his inspiration behind this dreamy session:
The feeling of being at home, comfortable. The best place to let your guard down, relax, and just enjoy being. The scent of coffee on a crisp fall day. A favorite book that you're reading for the third time. These are the things that inspired this session, and the emotion that we worked to capture. We wanted it to feel natural, like a normal way a woman would be lounging around her house and relaxing.
The beautiful woman in these photographs was also kind enough to share with us how she felt about her session:
I've always felt a strong connection to my Nordic roots, and since my fiancé and I are getting married in Northern Norway, I thought that could make for a very cozy boudoir shoot: lots of sweaters, long socks, and candles, with just a hint of lingerie underneath. I imagined this shoot as (a much prettier version of) waking up early in a Norwegian cabin and just enjoying the quiet stillness with a cup of tea and a book. By nature, I'm more of a modest person, so I chose less revealing pieces of lingerie and paired them with big, loose sweaters for a very relaxed look. By sticking with what I was most comfortable in, I was able to really enjoy the shoot while still giving my husband-to-be a unique and exciting gift.
