A wedding day, a day of anticipation, joy, and likely some residual stress. It is a time where a woman will be experiencing her last few hours as a single woman, before becoming forever a half of a greater whole. JAA Studios told a beautiful story of love and peace before the storm of a wedding day. To take a moment to be you, and to think of the future to do something special for the both of you, to plan for your first anniversary. So much care and planning went into making this session perfect and we truly love the inspiration behind it all.
"While a bridal boudoir session is typically created as a gift towards a significant other, a great way to make the photoshoot extra-special is to incorporate something that you BOTH love.
"This session was all about bringing the outdoors 'in'. We envisioned the subject and her groom-to-be as an outdoorsy couple that are passionate about sleeping under the stars. The purpose for this shoot was to provide a gorgeous anniversary gift for her groom that highlighted how her wedding morning away from him started.. A 'morning of' boudoir shoot is a great way not only to have an extra-special feeling attached to a boudoir session, but also gives the bride a calming hour alone before the hectic day starts.
"The bride wanted to show her passions in a tasteful, timeless way. She wanted the room she woke up in the day of her wedding to be a ethereal, relaxing get-away (so that it felt like camping, only without the unsightly bug bites). She incorporated her wedding day breakfast-in-bed into the shoot, as well as her groom's favorite astronomy book to include a bit of him into her morning. Other astronomical elements, such as an armillary sphere, spy glass, and beautiful quotes about the stars are a part of this session as well, stressing her "under the stars" theme.
"Any boudoir session makes a wonderful anniversary gift, but the "morning of" boudoir session is perfect for reminiscing about such an important and special day."
