When Chelsea of Finding Light Photography set out to create a styled session to include in her bridal boudoir portfolio, she knew that she wanted an outdoorsy, gorgeously lit scene with tulle and a flower crown. A neighborhood park, a simple DIY flower crown made from Whole Foods flowers, and a quick trip to a fabric store are all it took to make this stunning session happen. The model is a gorgeous friend who sounds like a dream to work with (four teenage boys walked by the shoot and she didn’t even flinch!).
As Chelsea works with brides to incorporate boudoir sessions into their wedding plans, she wants to focus on making each woman feel like the most beautiful version of herself. Chelsea explains, “no two bodies or two love stories are alike and I think boudoir is a beautiful way to celebrate that.” The boudoir experience is a time to celebrate not only the woman in the images, but the love story that is the reason behind her smile.
Here’s to celebrating love stories together through our boudoir work. Thank you to Chelsea for sharing this beautiful bridal boudoir with us! We hope it inspires many more like it.
