Today we are so excited to introduce you to Rachel and Noah of Rachel & Noah Ray Photography. Not only is this bohemian ballet boudoir gorgeous, but the story of how this session came together is inspiring. We hope you are as taken with it as we are!
We have been dying to put together a styled boho inspired boudoir shoot for quite sometime but it seemed as if the pieces would never fall in place. Well, the pieces finally fell in place and an amazing team of creatives helped to make this dream a reality. We typically shoot boudoirs that are light and airy but for this particular collaboration we wanted to go a little more moody with our lighting and exposure.
We found the location first, a 1938 Spanish style residence. Honestly this location pretty much fell in our laps. We were randomly surfing the web one day and came across the spot. We could not believe that the location was in Birmingham, AL! We were sold and immediately knew that we had to shoot this location. This location aided in putting the rest of the style together.
To top it off our model is an amazingly talented dancer and this is where the ballet details came in. At one point in the shoot we told our model to give an impromptu dance session and wow did it make for some gorgeous images! We took our time that day and let the magic happen.
Our first goal with boudoir is to always make sure there is a comfortable environment for our client or model. After that we take more of a quiet approach. We want natural posing and candid moments within the shoot. We are there to capture a romantic, sexy image that our clients will love forever.
