From the Photographer:
Being a woman, it is one of the most intimating chapters to many ladies lives. Not everyone is 100% confident in who they are or what they look like. So, for many of my clients they use their right of passage of becoming a bride as their outlet to explore how they see themselves in their mirror, how they want to be seen by others, especially their soon-to-be spouse, and the parts of them love. It can be one of the most pivotal times in their lives to date.
When Kayla came to me for her bridal boudoir shoot, I could tell immediately, she was joyful, somewhat shy but was excited about pushing herself to see herself the way others do. We are usually our own worst critics so, showing her just how beautiful she is now, was my ultimate goal.
By the end of the shoot, she was so giddy and I could tell she grew three or four inches taller in her confidence and for me, that is a job well done. I knew that her fiancé would love her photos because she loved them. Furthermore, I knew that so long as she loves who she is now, she was ready to become the woman she already was.
From the Client:
I've always wanted to do a boudoir shoot and after looking at brides doing them for their finances, I really wanted to get one done myself. I knew I had to look for someone who specialized in boudoir and someone I would feel comfortable with. When I first entered in the room to start the shoot, I was super nervous and my hands were clammy and all I could think is, uhh my body is not perfect and I don't know how to be sexy. Christy talked to me prior on what I needed to do and what she would capture. She told me be yourself and she focused on 3 parts of my body I actually love. Well let me tell you, it was the best thing I ever did. I walked out of there feeling so comfortable about my body and myself and I felt very confident and sexy. It changed my whole perspective of women any shape, size or colour can and always should feel confident and sexy about themselves. I believe everyone women who had the feeling I had before I went, should get pictures done as those pictures and the experience will change your life!
